Jamie Urban

Jamie graduated with a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education from Medaille College in 2008 and worked as a teacher until 2013 when life took her in a new direction. She started her career in the financial industry in 2013 as a part time bank teller, and worked her way up to Assistant Branch Manager in just a few years. During her time at the bank, she learned many different skills. Even though she no longer worked as a “teacher,” her love of teaching grew into teaching others to understand banking products/services, the loan process and even training fellow employees how to use bank systems.
In 2024 Jamie became a NYS Licensed Accident and Health Agent, to help educate those who qualify for Medicare, to understand the Medicare process and help them select the best plan for themselves. Jamie also obtained her Notary License in 2025.
Jamie lives in Amherst with her husband, Matt, three teenagers, a dog and cat. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family going for nature walks, the beach, watching movies and reading. Jamie is also an active member of her church, St. Benedict Church in Eggertsville, and is a member of the Counting Committee and has been a member of her Parish Council since 2022.
